VIR VALVES
VIR Valvoindustria Ing. Rizzio S.p.A. was established in 1971 in the town of Valduggia, in the province of Vercelli in northern Italy. The factory is named after its founder, Eng. Savino Rizzio, who astutely developed it into the international company it is today, a leader in the production of valves suitable for all types of fluids. Today's production capacity exceeds 10 million pieces a year, most of which is exported world-wide.
The Company has a highly qualified team of technicians, dedicated to the development, research and study of new products; since 1992 VIR has held a quality system certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 standards, and innumerable international specific product certifications.
VIR's principal activity is the production and distribution of ball valves, both manual and actuated, balancing valves, gate valves and butterfly valves in brass, bronze, polypropylene and cast-iron for the distribution of water and gas to be applied in plumbing, conditioning, industrial and irrigation installations.

VA-Denmark Certificate by ETA
The VA approval includes an assessment of the suitability of water
supply and drainage products as construction products in relation to
the information provided by the manufacturer. It is also an
assessment of whether the products fulfil the Danish requirements
defined in the Danish Building Regulation as well as related norms and guidelines

Finnish STF Certificate
This approval is used to approve construction products, when the products
in question affect the fulfilment of the essential technical requirements
of the building, in Finland.

The Danish GDV certification certifies that building components that enter into contact with water do not release substances which are dangerous to human health, and that therefore they are suitable for drinking water supply and food grade applications. The new certification falls within a wider project, concerning the building field, launched by the Danish government over the past few years.

This document certifies that the item has been successfully testedand inspected
to meet the country’s quality and safety standards.

TR CU 010 Certificate for RusAccreditation
VIR includes its own products certification body, which is accredited by
the Federal Service for Accreditation (RusAccreditation) to carry out work to confirm the compliance of products with respect to the requirements of the Technical Regulation of the Customs Union 010/2011.
